<h4>Auguste Wibo è l&#8217;avatar di un artista che preferirebbe restare anonimo. Quello che ispira il suo lavoro è il radicalismo dell&#8217;Arte Povera. Le opere di Piero Manzoni e Agostino Bonalumi sono state fondamentali per la formazione artistica di Wibo.  </h4>

<p>L&#8217;artista Auguste Wibo è affascinato dall&#8217;idea di giocare con i materiali di uso quotidiano e oggetti, combinati per portare un significato estetico completamente nuovo. Le sue opere mirano a creare una tensione tra semplice e complesso, tra sporco e pulito. Si capisce che c&#8217;è una ricerca minimalista della bellezza ed eleganza giocosa nella composizione finale, con elementi di provocazione.</p>

<p>Quello che appare a prima vista è un&#8217;estetica minimalista, ma che cela in realtà una provocazione dell&#8217;artista. La forma sottilmente velata di un pene umano eretto, che appare attraverso la tela, crea una gamma di emozioni diverse per gli spettatori: divertimento, confusione, stupore, eccitazione ma anche disagio.</p>

L&#8217;artista riflette sul potere dei social media, dove tutto è estremamente sessualizzato e censurato allo stesso tempo.&nbsp;Quando Auguste Wibo ha pubblicato la sua opera d&#8217;arte, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/augustewibo" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Instagram</a> l&#8217;ha rimossa due ore dopo.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Quindi un pene eretto è pornografico o bello, volgare o elegante? Il velo (la censura) rende più interessante, desiderabile o accettabile? In un sottile gioco tra vedo e non vedo, l&#8217;artista costringe gli spettatori ad osservare ciò a cui si allude e li porta ad affrontare le loro emozioni.</p>

La serie ha creato un ronzio crescente e ha suscitato l’idea di sviluppare ulteriormente il concetto. Auguste vuole lasciare ad altri artisti che rispetta, di interpretare la sua opere d&#8217;arte. Ma per il momento non vuole svelarci altro.</p>
