<p><strong>Molte delle tue opere esplorano la relazione tra le figure e il loro ambiente. Che significato hanno questi spazi per te e come interagiscono con i tuoi soggetti?</strong></p>



<p>La pittura, per me, è uno spazio di fluidità, senza gerarchie sulla tela. Persone, luoghi, idee e sogni convivono sullo stesso piano e si fondono l’uno nell’altro, proprio come noi viviamo negli spazi tanto quanto gli spazi vivono dentro di noi.</p>

<p><strong>Chi sono i soggetti che ritrai?</strong></p>



<p>I modelli sono persone a me vicine: il mio fidanzato o i miei amici. Probabilmente questo mi aiuta a generare empatia tra l’opera e lo spettatore, simile ai sentimenti che provo verso di loro.</p>

<p><strong>I tuoi ritratti sembrano sfuggire allo sguardo dello spettatore, creando spesso una sensazione di distanza. Cosa cerchi di comunicare attraverso questa tensione tra il soggetto e l’osservatore?</strong></p>



<p>Non si tratta tanto di creare una distanza con lo spettatore, quanto di lasciargli la libertà di entrare nel dipinto o meno. </p>



<h4>In un certo senso, è come creare una pittura “passiva” con cui puoi interagire solo se decidi di osservare.</h4>

<p><strong>Hai lavorato con una varietà di mezzi, tra cui acrilico, olio e acquerello. Cosa consideri quando scegli un mezzo per una particolare opera?</strong></p>



<p>Il fattore principale è il tempo. Mi piace dipingere rapidamente idee che hanno impiegato tempo per emergere. L’acrilico, e più precisamente la pittura vinilica, è lo strumento perfetto per l’immediatezza: si asciuga velocemente e può essere ricoperta con olio in modo molto sottile.</p>



<p>L’acquerello è un modo di lavorare diverso. Non puoi commettere errori e devi accettare i movimenti dell’acqua. </p>



<h4>Può essere frustrante, ma anche stimolante. </h4>



<p>Poiché la materia segue il proprio corso, puoi usare gli “incidenti” come base di riflessione per una successiva composizione sulla tela.</p>

<p><strong>Quali progetti futuri ti entusiasmano di più e come rappresentano l’evoluzione della tua pratica artistica?</strong></p>



<p>In questo momento, sto lavorando a una serie di dipinti ispirati a TikTok e ai reels. Sono ancora all’inizio di questa ricerca e non ho ancora definito pienamente l’ambito. È quasi una riflessione sul collage: la giustapposizione di due immagini, quando un video scorre verso il successivo, può creare nuovi strati di significato. </p>



<p>Sto anche esplorando il tema dell’intimità: quella che può essere messa in scena o quella che viene costruita attraverso il proprio feed curato.</p>
