<h3>Pedro Bon non dipinge per somigliare. Dipinge per rivelare.</h3>



<p>Non l’evidenza, ma ciò che vibra sotto la superficie: uno sguardo che trattiene, un gesto che esita, un corpo che non osa esporsi del tutto.  Per Pedro Bon ogni volto è un autoritratto inconscio, un frammento della sua interiorità trasferito su un’altra pelle.</p>



<h3>In un tempo che espone tutto, Pedro Bon sceglie ciò che resta taciuto. </h3>

<p><strong>I tuoi titoli —&nbsp;Los Irrompibles, Te Olvidaste, Cosmos,&nbsp;Hurt&nbsp;— sembrano evocare narrazioni intime. Il titolo nasce prima o dopo l’immagine?</strong></p>



<p>Sempre dopo. Il titolo è una conseguenza, mai un punto di partenza. Arriva quando il <a href="https://www.instagram.com/pedro.bon_/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">dipinto</a> ha già trovato la sua voce. È il tentativo di nominare una sensazione appena emersa.</p>



<p>Spesso mi affido alla musica: prendo in prestito titoli da canzoni che, per atmosfera o intensità, risuonano con l’opera. Non potrei fare il contrario. </p>



<h3>È l’immagine che impone il titolo, non viceversa.</h3>

<p><strong>Il ritratto, per te, è indagine psicologica o dialogo con lo spettatore?</strong></p>



<p>Nasce da un’urgenza personale. Dipingo emozioni che prendono forma in uno sguardo, in un gesto minimo, nella vibrazione della pelle.</p>



<p>Il dialogo con chi osserva mi interessa molto: a volte emergono letture che non avevo previsto. Ma l’origine resta intima. Il mio umore, il momento che sto vivendo, determinano l’opera. In fondo, sono tutti autoritratti inconsci: modi diversi di parlare di me attraverso qualcun altro.</p>

<p>C<strong>osa significa, per te, catturare l’invisibile?</strong></p>



<p>È l’unica cosa che conta. Limitarmi ai tratti fisici renderebbe il dipinto vuoto.</p>



<p>L’invisibile è ciò che si percepisce ma non si vede: desiderio, malinconia, una tristezza sommersa. Sono tensioni sottili, ma sono quelle che danno peso all’immagine.</p>

<p>Tutto. Anche se non lo sapevo all’inizio.</p>



<p>Sono stati gli altri a farmelo notare: nei volti che dipingo c’è sempre qualcosa di me. </p>

<h3>Non credo di poter rappresentare un’emozione che non abbia vissuto. </h3>



<p>La pittura è diventata il mio linguaggio, il luogo in cui riesco a dire ciò che a parole non riesco a formulare.</p>

<p>È ispirazione, ma soprattutto confessione.</p>

<p><strong>Che colore ha, per te, l’intimità?</strong></p>



<p>Il colore della pelle. Ma non come superficie uniforme: come territorio complesso.</p>



<p>Verdi, blu, rossori improvvisi. Zone in cui sembra di sentire il sangue pulsare. L’intimità è fatta di sfumature, non di tonalità piatte.</p>

<h3>Forse ciò che resta incompiuto.</h3>



<p>Fatico a capire quando fermarmi. La mia impazienza lascia sempre zone irrisolte. Paradossalmente, sono proprio quelle a parlare di più di me.</p>



<p><strong>Nei tuoi lavori il corpo interrompe il silenzio visivo. Che rapporto hai con il tuo?</strong></p>



<p>Accettarmi è stato un processo lento.</p>



<p>Forse per questo dipingo <a href="https://toh-magazine.com/2025/11/carmelo-plumari-corpi-luce-e-liberta/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">corpi</a> idealizzati: costruisco sulla tela una fisicità che non ho mai avuto. È un gesto di proiezione, ma anche di desiderio.</p>

<p><strong>Quando inizi un ritratto, cerchi la somiglianza o la verità?</strong></p>



<p>Nelle commissioni cerco la somiglianza: è ciò che viene richiesto.</p>



<p>Nel lavoro personale, invece, la somiglianza è solo un punto di partenza. Mi interessa amplificare ciò che sento potente, accentuare una tensione, spostare l’equilibrio. </p>



<h3>Non voglio una copia: voglio un peso emotivo.</h3>

<p>“Cosa provi quando vendi un’opera sapendo che potresti non rivederla mai più?”</p>



<p>È una separazione silenziosa. E non è mai del tutto indolore.</p>



<p><strong>Ti mette più a disagio essere guardato o essere capito?</strong></p>



<p>Essere guardato.</p>



<p>Non essere capito non mi spaventa. Ma stare al centro dell’attenzione sì. Il mio corpo lo tradisce subito: l’espressione cambia, mi irrigidisco. La timidezza è ancora lì.</p>

<p><strong>È più erotico trattenere che mostrare?</strong></p>



<p>Sì.</p>



<p>L’erotismo vive nell’immaginazione. Nel non detto. Quando trattieni, crei uno spazio che l’altro deve colmare. E spesso gli spettatori vedono nei miei lavori un’intensità erotica che io stesso, mentre dipingo, non misuro fino in fondo.</p>
