<h2>Francesco Colucci rende cool le vetrine della catena di  charity shop, <a href="https://www.traid.org.uk">Traid</a>, nella capitale britannica.</h2>



<h3>Lo fa utilizzando tutto ciò che trova negli undici negozi di questa società che combatte gli sprechi di vestiti.&nbsp;</h3>



<p>Questa è la descrizione volgare di ciò che fa Francesco Colucci, perchè in realtà il suo lavoro è qualcosa di molto più poetico, cool e autentico. </p>

<p>Basti pensare al fatto che ormai a Londra tutti aspettano il momento in cui nasce una nuova vetrina, e per tutti quelli che non hanno la possibilità di essere a Londra, Francesco Colucci posta puntualmente sul suo <a href="https://www.instagram.com/francesco.colucci82/">Instagram </a>ogni suo lavoro alimentando il sogno che diventa sempre più reale. </p>



<h3>Ciò che rende Francesco Colucci degno di essere seguito è la potenza della sua fantasia, il coraggio non scontato in cui riconsidera radicalmente qualunque cosa abbia a portata di mano.</h3>



<p>Così gli abiti da sera vintage si sovrappongono uno sull&#8217;altro,&nbsp;i cappotti sono cuciti a metà e poi uniti con l&#8217;ultima cosa che avresti mai immaginato. </p>



<p>E le coperte all&#8217;uncinetto assumono un nuovo ruolo, una nuova veste, una nuova vita.</p>



<h3>Si lo so, non si può comprare quello che crea, ma non è questo il punto.&nbsp;</h3>



<p>Quel che conta qui è non buttar via niente, ma ridargli un senso scatenando il pensiero, l&#8217;estro e la maestria con cui Francesco Colucci ridefinisce il senso delle cose, rispondendo in modo sostenibile al mondo della moda che ha bisogno di frenare un po&#8217; gli sprechi.&nbsp;</p>



<p>L&#8217;ho trovato su Instagram e ciò che mi ha colpito di più è la fierezza dello sguardo che ha nei confronti della moda, dal ricordo di Margiela passando per Leigh Bovery riuscendo a toccare punte del teatro Italiano come Zeffirelli arrivando ad Alejandro Jodorowsky.</p>

<h3 class="has-text-align-center">TOH! INTERVISTA FRANCESCO COLUCCI</h3>



<p><strong>Ciao Francesco, Qual è esattamente il tuo lavoro da Traid?</strong></p>



<p>Vorrei dire, innanzitutto, che Traid è un ente di beneficenza impegnata per il riutilizzo dei tessili, che sostiene lo sviluppo internazionale. </p>



<p>Traid raccoglie indumenti e accessori dismessi per rivenderli ed investirne il ricavato a sostegno di popolazioni svantaggiate e per la realizzazione di progetti come la produzione di cotone biologico.</p>



<h4>Il mio lavoro consiste nel creare le vetrine di tutti i 12 negozi dislocati nella città di Londra.</h4>



<p><br>Uso abiti, accessori, e oggetti che trovo in negozio di volta in volta, questi elementi li riadatto sui manichini.<br>Il risultato finale è un’opera montata su manichino, singoli pezzi costruiti in maniera spontanea. </p>



<p>All&#8217;interno di ogni singolo negozio, metto in scena una specie di performance in diretta ridando forma e vita ai miei manichini e il lavoro di creazione può essere molto complesso, perché tendo a sovraccaricare la mia mente con idee sempre differenti e opzioni diversificate.</p>



<p><strong>Cosa ti ispira quando crei nuove vetrine?</strong></p>



<p>Adoro la sfida di pensare costantemente a nuove idee e nuove storie. Le mie idee, tuttavia, potrebbero sempre prendere una direzione completamente diversa dall’originale e può evolversi durante tutto il processo di fabbricazione. </p>



<h4>Voglio che il risultato rifletta me stesso e il modo in cui vedo le cose. </h4>



<p>Il messaggio che trasmetto attraverso ogni installazione è sempre diverso, ma ad essere onesti, ciò che mi importa è il processo di comunicazione e l&#8217;interazione tra me e il pubblico. </p>



<p>Il risultato è aperto all&#8217;interpretazione.</p>



<p><strong>Guardando i tuoi lavori i riferimenti ad alcuni grandi designer sono evidenti, chi o quali sono i tuoi punti di riferimento?</strong><br><br>&nbsp;I miei interessi sono naturalmente per tutto ciò che può essere definito Arte: esposizioni, moda, musica, fotografia, la ricerca di libri e di oggetti spesso unici o di antiquariato. Da un altro punto di vista mi ritrovo ad essere un ricercatore del “nuovo&#8221;, quindi tutto ciò che mi circonda può essere una buona fonte di ispirazione.<br>Queste influenze sono incentivi sostanziali al mio lavoro. I miei riferimenti artistici sono tanti e i più disparati, per citarne alcuni: Romeo Castelucci, l&#8217;artista Leigh Bowery, il designer Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, Rei Kawakubo e Martin Margiela.<br>Seguo anche molti designer emergenti.</p>

<p><strong>Se ti dico Leigh Bovery, cosa ti viene in mente?</strong></p>



<p>Ho scoperto Leigh Bowery nel 2006, quando la British School di Roma ha organizzato la sua prima mostra personale, esponendo parte dei suoi meravigliosi costumi. </p>



<p>Ho sentito subito un legame con la sua estetica e la sua indistinguibile creatività nell’esprimere se stesso, prendendo il suo corpo e trasformarlo in una tela, come me e tanti altri, conferma quanto sia stato influente nella scena New Romantic britannica degli anni 80,’ continuando ad esserlo ancora oggi.<br></p>



<p><strong>Oggi il vintage è il nuovo nero, che relazione hai con l’usato?<br></strong></p>



<p>Lavorando da molti anni in questo settore, il mio approccio verso l’usato è cambiato sicuramente.</p>



<p>Per uno come me che ama la moda, in questo ambiente è facile trovare qualcosa di unico e interessante, ma soprattutto diventa importante l’occasione di poter conoscere le diverse qualità dei tessuti, oltre che offrirsi l’opportunità di ragionare sul fatto che si possa fare beneficenza avendo con pochi soldi abiti di qualità.</p>

<p><strong>Vintage per me è sinonimo di sostenibilità, quanto c’è di sostenibile nel tuo lavoro?<br></strong>Il reimpiego e la sostenibilità sono fattori chiave con l’attuale cambiamento climatico, dobbiamo fare il possibile per ottenere il massimo da ciò che già abbiamo e dobbiamo condividere ciò che non ci serve più. </p>



<p>Qui il mio lavoro, è considerato un forte messaggio estetico/visivo ed essendo esposto al pubblico, aiuta l’osservatore a riflettere su queste tematiche globali.<br></p>



<p><strong>Dal momento che quello che crei non si può comprare, hai in mente la progettazione di un tuo brand?</strong><br>La gente interessata al mio lavoro, spesso mi chiede se io sia un designer e se mi piacerebbe trasformare il mio lavoro in un brand.</p>

<p>Provenendo da un background di Fine Art in pittura, ho sempre avuto esperienze nella video/arte, nelle performance e nella realizzazioni di costumi. </p>



<p>Più che creare un mio brand, mi piacerebbe continuare, creando qualcosa che unisca l’uso dell’abito e il suo assemblaggio come espressione creativa nella performance art, video arte o semplicemente continuare nello styling per fashion editorial/music video.</p>

<p><strong>Con chi ti piacerebbe lavorare?</strong></p>



<p>Negli ultimi anni ho maturato la mia esperienza di creativo, posso dire di sentirmi comunque soddisfatto di essermi affermato il qualche modo come artista.</p>



<p>Onestamente visto le circostanze in cui ci troviamo, preferisco continuare a sognare e non pensare con chi vorrei lavorare, ma se dovesse capitare ne sarei fiero.</p>



<p> Preferisco che le collaborazioni rimangano delle esperienze importanti da ricordare mia vita.</p>



<p><strong>Che musica ascolti?&nbsp;</strong></p>



<p>La musica è una fonte di ispirazione per il mio lavoro ed è un elemento fondamentale che permette ad ogni essere umano di interagire con essa come strumento di comunicazione.</p>

<h2>I Need Vintage è il brand creato da Damiano Di Nunno e Martina Sciortino che sta perfettamente in equilibrio tra innovazione e stile.</h2>



<p>L&#8217;abbigliamento tecnico sportivo non è mai stato così cool come in questo periodo. Il motivo che spinge le persone ad indossare capi tecnici forse può spiegarlo la sezione discover di Instagram, dove io ho trovato I need Vintage.</p>

<p>In mezzo a vecchie felpe, sciarpe da tifosi, o passati completini da calcio Damiano e Martina hanno ideato il loro brand trasformando tutto quello che trovano nei mercatini nell&#8217;equivalente moderno del twin set.</p>



<h3>I need vintage rielabora maglie da ciclismo o di squadre di calcio in top corti e minigonne per un prodotto finale che presenta un incredibile mashup di stampe e tipografie degli anni &#8217;90.  </h3>

<p><strong>Chi c’è dietro I need vintage?</strong></p>



<p>Dietro ad I need Vintage siamo in due (Damiano &amp; Martina), ognuno svolge il proprio ruolo, ci occupiamo di recuperare la merce, customizzare, fotografare, editare, pubblicare, partecipare a vari Market esponendo i nostri articoli. </p>



<p>Siamo sempre in costante ricerca di nuove idee per realizzare capi unici e particolari. E’ un vero e proprio lavoro che occupa molto tempo e che riempie le giornate. Una vera passione!</p>



<p><strong>Cosa ti ha spinto a creare i need vintage?</strong></p>



<p>Ti rispondo con una frase di Albert Einstein: La crisi&nbsp;è la più grande benedizione per le persone e le nazioni, perché&nbsp;la crisi porta&nbsp;progressi. La creatività nasce dall&#8217;angoscia come il giorno nasce dalla notte oscura. E&#8217; nella&nbsp;crisi&nbsp;che sorge l&#8217;inventiva, le scoperte e le grandi strategie.</p>



<p><strong>Lo sport è sempre fatto parte di te, che &nbsp;messaggio c’è, se c’è, nelle tue creazioni?</strong></p>



<p>Più che passione per lo sport è la passione che c’è dietro lo stile delle maglie sportive, le stampe, i colori, gli sponsor, un vero e proprio capo studiato in dettaglio da qualcuno che ha messo passione e inventiva per realizzarlo. Noi valorizziamo questo prodotto aggiungendo la nostra inventiva, come con le maglie da ciclista abbiamo creato Top, T-shit corte e Completi.</p>

<p><strong>Quanto è importante Instagram per te?</strong></p>



<p>Dal punto di vista lavorativo Instagram ci aiuta a esporre i nostri prodotti come se fosse una vetrina, non so dirti esattamente quanto possa influire sulle vendite, sinceramente meno di quanto tu possa pensare.<br>Al momento il “successo” lo abbiamo trovato con Depop, una piattaforma fatta per vendere abbigliamento Vintage, molto popolare all’Estero.</p>



<p><strong>Che visione hai della moda oggi?</strong></p>



<p>Dipende cosa intendi per moda, molti confondono la moda con la tendenza. Noi crediamo che la moda sia sempre in continua evoluzione, ma la tendenza ha omologato la maggior parte delle persone che la confondo con la moda.</p>



<p><strong>Chi vorresti indossasse i tuoi pezzi? E perchè</strong></p>



<p>Tutti coloro che sostengono il riciclaggio di Abbigliamento e quelle persone che sentono il bisogno di avere personalità e stile nel modo di vestire.</p>
