<p>Agosto in Pelliccia, già vincitore del premio per la Miglior Regia a Visioni Italiane 2022, segna un importante punto di partenza per<a href="https://www.instagram.com/_alessandro_rocca_/?igsh=eXI2ZWw2bjRzM2M1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Rocca</a>, rappresentando il primo capitolo di una trilogia che affronta temi come l&#8217;identità, l&#8217;amore, l&#8217;accettazione e la dipendenza.</p>

<p><strong>La trama: uno sguardo intimo e profondo</strong><br><em>Agosto in Pelliccia</em>&nbsp;racconta la storia di Tommaso, un giovane omosessuale che vive in un ambiente dominato dalla mascolinità<a href="https://toh-magazine.com/2022/03/brais-albor-mafcsm-saint-martins-london-fashion-new-talent/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> tossica</a> del fratello maggiore, Leonardo. Quest&#8217;ultimo, incapace di accettare le proprie insicurezze e paure, esercita un forte controllo su Tommaso, sottomettendolo e reprimendo i suoi sentimenti, pur provando in realtà affetto per lui. Questa dinamica familiare si svolge all&#8217;interno di un piccolo appartamento in cui convivono anche la nonna, gravemente malata di demenza senile.</p>

<p>Tommaso, descritto dal regista come una figura sensibile e coraggiosa, cerca di esplorare la sua identità sessuale in un contesto opprimente. I suoi movimenti sono paragonati a quelli di una volpe: sinuosi ma prudenti, agisce spesso di nascosto, in segreto. Leonardo, invece, appare come un lupo: rigido, sicuro in apparenza, ma intrappolato nelle sue paure. </p>



<h4>Questa dicotomia tra i due fratelli crea una tensione che si snoda lungo tutto il corto, offrendo una riflessione profonda sulla complessità delle relazioni umane e sull&#8217;impatto della mascolinità tossica.</h4>

<p><strong>Un cinema di ricerca identitaria</strong><br>Per Rocca, il cinema è molto più di un mezzo narrativo: è &#8220;il potere magico&#8221; che gli consente di dare forma al caos dell&#8217;universo e trovare equilibrio.</p>



<h4><em>Agosto in Pelliccia</em>&nbsp;rappresenta per lui il primo passo verso la consapevolezza della propria identità di regista, una risposta alla domanda che si pone da tempo: &#8220;Perché faccio cinema?&#8221;. </h4>



<p>Questo corto è solo l&#8217;inizio di un viaggio esplorativo che continuerà con&nbsp;<em>Sans Dieu</em>&nbsp;(2024) e<em>Kràlik</em>&nbsp;(2025), i successivi capitoli della trilogia. Ogni film esaminerà diversi aspetti dell&#8217;identità umana attraverso il prisma di relazioni amorose e dinamiche familiari complesse.</p>

<h3><br>&#8220;Back to Black&#8221;, il biopic musicale che riporta Amy Winehouse al cinema, è ora disponibile. La pellicola, diretta e sceneggiata da Sam Taylor-Johnson, si impegna a restituire la vita della cantante con rispetto e autenticità, evitando di cadere nei cliché e nelle semplificazioni. </h3>



<p>L&#8217;immagine più famosa della regista Sam Taylor-Johnson, quando era ancora Sam Taylor-Wood, la talentuosa giovane artista britannica, era un autoritratto in piedi con un completo nero, mentre tiene in mano un lepre puntato rigidamente verso l&#8217;alto. </p>



<p>Era forte, scomoda, e controversa sin dal suo fidanzamento a quarant&#8217;anni con l&#8217;attore Aaron Taylor-Johnson all&#8217;epoca diciannovenne, conosciuto sul set del film Lover boy, biopic sul giovane John Lennon, suo secondo film da regista.</p>



<h4>La coppia contraddicendo le malelingue è innamorata più che mai, nel 2001 si sono sposati e oggi vivono a L.A. con i loro 4 figli; 2 sono del matrimonio precedente della Johnson. Ma lo smalto che contraddistingueva sia le opere dell&#8217;artista che i suoi primi filn da regista è andato perso, è come se allontanandosi da Londra trasferendosi a New York si fosse imborghesita, perdendo quel lato ribelle che la contraddistingueva. E così è questo suo nuovo film.</h4>



<p>Amy Winehouse viene ritratta come una figura vitale e appassionata, lontana dall&#8217;essere solo un&#8217;eroina condannata. Le sue canzoni fungono da filo conduttore, accompagnando il racconto attraverso gli anni e gli eventi della sua vita.</p>

<p>Marisa Abela interpreta Amy con bravura, anche se è evidente la mancanza di profondità nel suo personaggio. <a href="https://www.primevideo.com/dp/amzn1.dv.gti.a0ba9170-26ad-4f51-7ce9-93e2592c8d12?autoplay=0&amp;ref_=atv_cf_strg_wb">Rispetto al documentario &#8220;Amy&#8221;</a> del 2015 di Asif Kapadia, vincitore di un Oscar, il film non riesce a catturare appieno l&#8217;essenza e la complessità dell&#8217;artista.</p>



<p>Persino il padre, da sempre dipinto come uno dei suoi peggior nemico nel film viene dipinto come il migliore dei suoi protettori..</p>

<p>Quello che ne è emerso è una cinematografia diversa e a tratti nuova per quanto riguarda il porno, difficile da etichettare. Che il porno gay possa diventare un prodotto d&#8217;autore?  </p>

<h3>Ciao Noel, <a href="https://mubi.com/it/cast/noel-alejandro-hortas">sei un regista di film porno gay indipendenti.</a> Quando hai capito che volevi girare questo genere di film e non quelli mainstream?</h3>



<p>Non ho mai voluto far parte del mondo del porno mainstream. Ho studiato arte e cinema a Barcellona e dopo i miei studi ho lavorato con Erika Lust, una tra le più importanti registe nel panorama erotico femminile in Europa.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Dopo averla affiancata per qualche anno, ho girato il mio primo film “Eloi &amp; Biel&#8221; nel 2013, che mi ha portato a partecipare ad alcuni festival in giro per l&#8217;Europa. </p>



<p>Vedendo quello che c&#8217;era in giro ho notato un gap che nessuno stava colmando. A oggi ho girato dieci corti e posso dire a voce alta che sono orgoglioso di far parte di questo genere.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Oggi il mondo pornografico è mal visto, ma questo è dovuto a come i registihanno deciso di presentarlo, ovvero senza sensibilità e senza visione artistica.</p>



<h3>È interessante perché nei tuoi film non si percepisce finzione, è come se tu mostrassi davvero sesso intimo tra due persone. Come fai?</h3>



<p>Molti mi dicono che percepiscono una buona connessione tra gli attori e quanto ciò risulti godibile per lo spettatore. Credo che tutti noi guardiamo i film porno perché vogliamo sentirci parte della scena, ma la maggioranza del porno oggi è parte di un processo industriale dove gli attori non sentono più quello che stanno facendo, spesso sono più preoccupati se la luce illumina correttamente il six pack che alla connessione con il loro partner, come se avere un corpo perfetto fosse abbastanza per eccitare gli altri. Sbagliato!</p>

<h3>Come scegli gli attori? È complicato lavorare con attori non professionisti?</h3>



<p>Beh non è un processo semplice. Twitter è uno strumento potente poiché la maggior parte degli attori lo usa, ma ricevo un sacco di mail anche da persone che non ne fanno parte. </p>



<p>La maggior parte sono ballerini e artisti che provano la curiosità e il desiderio di fare una scena di sesso naturale in uno dei miei film. </p>



<p>Certamente questo comporta dei rischi per me, ma sono solito lavorare con attori non professionisti così sono davvero rari i casi in cui accadono inconvenienti. </p>



<p>Fare sesso davanti alla cinepresa è facile una volta che hai deciso, ma gestire lo stress dei giorni precedenti è tutta un&#8217;altra cosa, questo è il mio monito a chi si candida.</p>



<h3>Per quanto riguarda la sceneggiatura, da dove trai ispirazione?</h3>



<p>Questa è la mia battaglia. Lotto sempre molto per offrire la mia visione di come il cinema dovrebbe essere e di come vedo la vita, così i miei film sono sempre una grande opportunità per trattare alcuni argomenti che solitamente non ho il coraggio di condividere con le persone.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Per farti un esempio, mi reputo una persona che ha un punto di vista molto scientifico, non credo in nulla che non possa essere ricollegato alla scienza, come Dio, il paranormale o tutto ciò che riguarda lo spirituale. </p>



<p>Nei miei film invece, spesso parlo di tutto questo perché sono per me il mezzo prediletto per esprimere tutto quello che non mi permetto di credere.</p>

<h3>Ho sempre creduto che ci sia una sottile linea sfocata tra arte e pornografia indipendente. Che cosa ne pensi?</h3>



<p>Per me l&#8217;arte è principalmente un messaggio, una comunicazione. Un film porno indipendente credo che possa essere girato con uno stile che offra informazioni sul suo creatore.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Se c&#8217;è uno stile e una visione allora ci possono essere dei ricettori.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Credo che nell&#8217;industria pornografica ci sia una completa mancanza di tutto questo, non colgo nessun messaggio.</p>

<h3>Il sesso è potere e politica. Che ne pensi?</h3>



<p>&nbsp;Il sesso è un elemento importante della nostra società, è un qualcosa che disturba tantissimo alcune persone mentre ne delizia altre. </p>



<p>Il modo con cui noi facciamo sesso e con chi decidiamo di farlo dicono tanto del nostro background e della nostra cultura e soprattutto chi siamo veramente.&nbsp;</p>



<p>A volte non possiamo fuggire dai nostri desideri e alcuni governi usano il sesso per controllare le persone.</p>



<p>Il modo in cui decidiamo di rappresentare il sesso in un film è il modo in cui molte persone impareranno come davvero funzionano alcune strutture sociali e come il sesso debba essere fatto o anche che cosa sia accettabile o no.</p>

<h3>Non credi che nel 2017 sia triste che il sesso gay sia considerato ancora un tabù?</h3>



<p>&nbsp;Se guardiamo indietro di circa venti anni, la vita omosessuale era rinchiusa ancora nei ghetti.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Ma anche oggi molto lavoro deve essere fatto per far sì che sia completamente accettato, nelle società moderne vediamo come le cose stanno cambiando.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Ci sono ancora molte persone che considerano indecente la foto di due ragazzi che si baciano, come qualcosa che non dovrebbe apparire in una pubblicità o in televisione, ma sta a noi spingere oltre questi confini e far cambiare la direzione alle cose. Normalizziamo il sesso gay.</p>

<h3>È difficile lavorare in questo settore?</h3>



<p>Sono regista, ma anche produttore e distributore, e a volte incontro un sacco di problemi, perché se fai pornografia nessuno ti vuole, PayPal non ti vuole, la maggior parte dei servers non ti vuole, Vimeo non ti vuole, YouTube non ti vuole, Facebook ti rende tutto difficile. Trovo che sia difficile emergere quando tutto internet ti è contro.</p>



<h3>&nbsp;Se dovessi scegliere un porno gay per masturbarti che cosa sceglieresti?</h3>



<p>Il mio gusto nella pornografia non è poi così differente dal resto delle altre persone.</p>

<h3><em>Una ricognizione sui migliori film del cinema LGBT+ del 2020, tra titoli attesissimi e rimandati a data da destinarsi per colpa dell’emergenza sanitaria (come Ammonite e Summer of 85), pellicole da noi passate ingiustamente in sordina (Monsoon, Your Name Engraved Herein) e documentari che fanno luce su realtà dolorose della nostra contemporaneità (Welcome to Chechnya), con un occhio anche alla servilità d’autore, perché il limite tra grande e piccolo schermo è sempre più labile.&nbsp;</em></h3>

<p>Il film si ispira alla storia vera dell’incontro tra la paleontologa Mary Anning (Kate Winslet) e la geologa Charlotte Murchison (Saoirse Ronan), una scorbutica e l’altra depressa intrecciano una relazione clandestina che dona loro nuova energia, ma al di fuori dell’intimità i loro orizzonti sembrano essere troppo distanti. </p>



<p>Francis Lee dopo God&#8217;s Own Country torna con una storia che rispecchia a pieno la sua poetica cinematografica: la forza della natura incombe sulle protagoniste investendole con tutta la sua forza, il freddo le debilita, il vento copre le loro parole. Un film intimo e&nbsp; girato con grande verismo sensoriale che non può sfuggire al paragone con Ritratto della giovane in fiamme di Céline Sciamma (2019), ma nonostante le similitudini (l’ambientazione, il legale proibito delle due protagoniste isolate dal mondo) Ammonite riesce a vivere di una propria forza e un proprio fascino.&nbsp;</p>



<h4><strong>Your Name Engraved Herein (Liu Kuang-hui, 2020)</strong></h4>

<p>Film LGBT+ più visto di sempre al botteghino di Taiwan. Liu Kuang-hui guarda a Guadagnino (Call me by your name) e a Wong Kar-wai per costruire una storia che attinge dal proprio vissuto, quando al liceo &#8211; nella Taiwan degli anni ’80, all’alba dell’abolizione della legge marziale &#8211; si innamora per la prima volta di con compagno di scuola.</p>



<p> Nel film trova spazio anche una scena che omaggia l&#8217;attivista Chi Chia-wei, che da 30 anni lotta per i diritti LGBT+ del Paese: i due protagonisti lo vedono protestare per le strade di Taipei, in mano un cartello con scritto “l’omosessualità non è una malattia&#8221; e indosso un vestito fatto di preservativi. </p>



<p>Oggi Taiwan è un Paese diverso, nel 2019 il presidente Tsai Ing-wen ha firmato la legge per il matrimonio tra persone dello stesso sesso, ma quella raccontata da Liu Kuang-hui è la storia di un amore impossibile, stroncata dallo stigma sociale, dalle famiglie e della paura: un omaggio a tutte e persone che non hanno potuto vivere la propria felicità a causa dell’oppressione morale e politica. Un film romantico, sincero e toccante, intriso di una profonda malinconia e scandito al tempo di musica.&nbsp;</p>

<p>La regista e sceneggiatrice Alice Wu torna dietro la macchina da presa &#8211; per il suo secondo lungometraggio &#8211; dopo 15 anni. Era il 2004 quando debuttava sul grande schermo con Saving Face. </p>



<p>In Half of it (questo il titolo originale), Ellie Chu è una studentessa delle superiori che arrotonda scrivendo i temi per i compagni di classe, più svogliati. Non parla con nessuno, è la secchiona sfigata di turno, a casa ha un padre depresso da accudire. Un giorno un compagno di scuola la ingaggia per scrivere lettere d&#8217;amore. </p>



<p>Ellie, nonostante la ritrosia iniziale, si fa coinvolgere diventando una novella Cyrano de Bergerac. I due diventano amici innamorandosi così&#8230; della stessa ragazza. Ovviamente tutto quello che può andare storto lo farà. L&#8217;altra metà del titolo è quella della mela, ma l&#8217;amore è un casino, e forse non sempre c&#8217;è una metà che combacia alla perfezione. Un coming of age girato con grande intelligenza e sensibilità.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Ispirato alle proteste cattofasciste e nazionaliste che da anni segnano la Romania. La cornice sociale della storia (segnata da movimenti omofobi) innesca nel protagonista, un poliziotto segretamente gay, un conflitto interiore che lo mette di fronte a una scelta difficile e dolorosa. </p>



<p>Pubblico e privato si scontrano in un conflitto che sembra non avere soluzione. Un film intimo e teso, profondo e dolorosamente attuale.&nbsp;</p>

<p>È una serie TV, lo so, ma facciamo finta che sia un film. Guadagnino realizza per HBO un&#8217;opera piena zeppa di cose detestabili, come la vita d&#8217;altra parte. Nella base militare di Chioggia si intrecciano le storie d’amore e di amicizia di un gruppo di adolescenti. </p>



<p>Sono incoerenti, intrattabili, lunatici: alla ricerca di sé stessi in un mondo che non li rappresenta, di cui non si sentono parte. Un atto deliberatamente ostile nei confronti dello spettatore, volutamente contraddittorio e irrisolto, ma libero e pieno di vita. </p>



<p>Con così tanta carne al fuoco (la sessualità e la politica nel 2016, con l’elezione di Trump che lancia un’ombra irreale sulla scena politica internazionale) riesce a essere strumentale il minimo necessario, e già questo ha del miracoloso. Ottimo esempio, tra l’altro, di come anche l&#8217;Italia possa essere scenario efficace per prodotti internazionali.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Selezionato per l’edizione fantasma di Cannes 2020, Summer of 85 è l’adattamento di un romanzo young adult di Aidan Chambers, Danza sulla mia tomba: l&#8217;estate di un amore giovane e tragico. <p>Il regista di Lilting (2014) si conferma un vero talento: colpisce la sua capacità di mettere in scena la complessità della contemporaneità senza scadere nel didascalico, lasciando anzi spazio a un vuoto poetico di grande intensità. A Saigon, capitale di un Vietnam in cui la guerra aleggia come un ricordo lontano ma ancora doloroso, il protagonista torna sui luoghi della propria infanzia in cerca delle proprie radici.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Con Saint-Narcisse, presentato alla Mostra del Cinema di Venezia 2020, Bruce LaBruce (Hustler White, Gerontophilia) rende omaggio al suo Québec e al cinema degli anni ’70, che da sempre ha ispirato i temi e l’estetica della sua cinematografia&nbsp; Dominic, ventidue anni: niente lo eccita di più della propria immagine: è il fetish di sé stesso. </p>



<p>Si scatta di continuo Polaroid, si ammira, si brama, si ama. Ciò che scatena le sue pulsioni sessuali più forti è il suo riflesso. Quando muore la nonna però viene a conoscenza di una serie di segreti che tornano dal passato e scombinano tutte le sue convinzioni. David scopre difatti di avere un fratello gemello, identico a lui. <p>Documentario prodotto da HBO sulla devastante situazione dei diritti civili LGBT+ in Cecenia: persone sparite nel nulla, rapimenti, detenzioni, torture e esecuzioni extragiudiziali. Un numero imprecisato di cittadini &#8211; arrestati dalle autorità in base al all’orientamento sessuale (presunto) &#8211; sono morti dopo esser stati portati in veri e propri campi di concentramento.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Il film segue il lavoro di alcuni attivisti che hanno portato in salvo i sopravvissuti alle torture. Il documentario, girato in segreto utilizzando telecamere nascoste e telefoni cellulari, è stato proiettato in anteprima al Sundance Film Festival e&nbsp; Festival del Cinema di Berlino.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Il documentario fa luce sulla repressione delle persone LGBT+ durante il Ventennio fascista, un capitolo della nostra storia mai messo veramente ben a fuoco da storici e studiosi. Il documentario è un lavoro corale in cui si intrecciano poesie, lettere e diari, ricostruendo così storie di amori, incontri ed erotismo attraverso le testimonianze dei sopravvissuti a quegli anni dolorosi. Il film documenta anche le forme legislative (e psichiatriche) di questa persecuzione: se difatti in Italia non è mai esistita una legge che proibisse l’omosessualità, nulla ha impedito al regime di operare una repressione sistematica.&nbsp;</p>
